In Memories of my Dearest Grandma

For the past two and a half weeks, we have been visiting the hospital almost every week. Our dearest grandma had an asthma attack. It started off as a simple asthma attack, but it took a toll on her, she keeps getting attacked (around 5 times during her stay in hospital), and her body starts to deteriorate very fast.

Last Saturday she had an attack again, and this time, she seems to be totally drained from trying to stay on though her oxygen level was healthy, within the range of 90-100%. Initially we thought she should be fine as her oxygen level was quite stable for a few hours after the attack. But never did we expect that her oxygen level will drop in the middle of the night.

Darren and his cousin stayed for the night to look after grandma, and everything happened so fast, within 20 mins and she's gone. Some of us can't even make it in time to see the last of you, including me too. It was a really traumatizing night for everyone, and this is the reality.

Good night grandma. You will always be in our hearts forever. Thank you for all the love you have given me. You treat me like your own granddaughter, showering me with lots of love, hugs and kisses. And I'm proud to be your soon-to-be granddaughter-in-law. Lots of Love. Rest in peace...
