Amethyst Pendant!

It was love at first sight! It's an Amethyst cabochon necklace, but I love how exquisite it looks with the tiny White Topaz (which some times looks like Diamond!) around it, plus the Rose Gold Plating. It somehow gives me a cheery feeling whenever I look at it, and I just feel so happy with it.

Got this beautiful piece from NewAge FSG. It is well-known for reducing stress and headaches as it was used in ancient times as a natural painkiller which it helps to stimulate the body to produce endorphins. A good replacement for Panadols?

"Endorphin: A hormonal compound that is made by the body in response to pain or extreme physical exertion. Endorphins are similar in structure and effect to opiate drugs. They are responsible for the so-called runner's high, and release of these essential compounds permits humans to endure childbirth, accidents, and strenuous everyday activities." - quoted from Medterms.com

Amethyst is also known to help people with insomnia as it helps to relieves stress and tension. But as of now, I don't have any problem with sleeping, can't comment on that. Amazingly, whenever I look at it, it definitely makes me smile, or calms me down a little. Kinda works on me.

This crystal are also popular among parents, as it aids in concentration and sparks creativity (partially the reason why I bought it too!).

Although Amethyst is known as a birthstone for February babies, it does not mean that you can't use it since you are not born in February. I'm a June baby, and the Amethyst still attracts me. I guess it probably means that February babies need it more than me? Hahas.

These are just some of my experience with the crystal. For more informative description of it, you can read it at NewAge FSG website, or Google the name.

Happy long weekend everyone!

Xoxo, Amber
