Kooks Creamery

One of the latest online sensation with Ice-Cream falling onto a Lava Cookie instead of the usual Lava Cakes. KOOKS Creamery is a small little corner shop located in the Serangoon neighbourhood, 2 bus stops away from nex Megamall. The place may get a little crowded especially after lunch and dinner hours, and with limited seats, you may want to pop over slightly earlier.

The lava cookie looks just like a normal cookie till we topped the ice-cream on it. Usually the staff will pour the ice-cream for you to ensure the results. Decorated around the cookie are digestive biscuit crumbs.
Kooks Signature Lava Cookie $8.50

The chocolate lava flows out of the cookie generouly once the Khong Guan flavoured ice-cream drops onto it. And it’s a really interesting creation, different from the norm. There are also quite a few of cool flavours for ice-cream. The one we tried was named after the famous biscuit we have been eating since young "Khong Guan", and it does have a little of the lemony taste.

Overall it was a pleasant trip to the cafe though I find the price a little on the high side for a neighbourhood cafe.
